Three good things (per week) from PPL (2/2019)

En (Fr descendant la page)

We are continuing with the three good things exercise:

1. Last week we have been announced that our proposal for OLAI (aiming to conceptualise and develop measures to promote the integration of all non-Luxembourg residents in Luxembourg) has been shortlisted đŸ€©and we are invited for an interview and detailed presentation of it this weekđŸ„ł. We hope to charm the committee with our idea of using appreciative interviews for finding best practices of integration at the personal level. The members of PPL involved in this proposal have observed through their practice that some people integrate faster, easier and better than others (just like resilience) motioning improving their wellbeing 😇and we hope to identify what are these factors enabling it and how this relates with elements from self determination theory, character strengths, PERMA and other elements of PP in order to develop tools and interventions supporting integration.

2. Waiting for our own PPL podcast, we are glad to invite you to listen to our vicepresident Frauke Rost who have been invited as a guest on the How2Flow podcast! She talked about life decisions, following your inner voice 🗣, opening up your heart 💜, and positive psychology. 😊 The introduction and description on the website are in German, the interview itself is in English.https://how2flow.net/innere-stimme/

3. On Wednesday, our member Lyndsay Whitby participated representing PPL to the Future of Education in Luxemboug đŸ€“meetup organized by Luxembourg Design thinking group. As Positive education is a subject we are planning to develop in Luxembourg and this subject is dear to the hearts 👹‍👧‍👩of many of our members, we are looking forward getting involved in the brainstorming and applications that could come out from this initiative. The meeting had as objective to discover what forces of change our younger generations will face, what signals were already detected in Luxembourg and what new skills are emerging.
